We’ve got our reasons…

It’s a good question.

Putting on our Annual Duck Race fund raiser takes a fair bit of planning, a whole lot of team effort and a whole lot of work behind the scenes.

It certainly can be a challenge.

Hmm… That is a part of it. Our Rotary Club likes a challenge!

The other part of it is the smiles on the faces of the kids and adults who come out every year to cheer on the ducks and duck wranglers. And, the smiles on the faces of the people and organizations that we are able to help as a result of the race. And, the smiles on the faces of the sponsors who know that they have helped us to help the people who I mentioned above.

And, the smiles on the faces of the club members who, exhausted after wrangling ducks, are satisfied that we all, in our own ways, have helped the… well, I think you get the picture.

However, the real reason we do it is to help support the organizations that help to make our communities stronger and better.
